Performance & RF Characteristics

The antenna covers the 5000–6000 MHz frequency range with a peak gain of 7 dBi and a VSWR below 1.5:1 across the band. Its input impedance is 50 Ohm nominal, and it handles up to 10 W of feed power. Polarisation is linear vertical, and the antenna features a DC short. An N-Type female connector at the base allows connection to a cable of the desired type and length.

Environmental & Mechanical Durability

The enclosure carries an IP69K rating for high-pressure water and dust ingress protection and an IK 10 impact-resistance rating. It is rated for outdoor and indoor use, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C and operating relative humidity up to 98%. Storage conditions span the same temperature range with humidity from 5% to 95% non-condensing. The radome is made of UV-stable ASA material with a flammability rating of UL 94-HB, and the antenna survives wind speeds up to 190 km/h. Salt-spray resistance is validated to MIL-STD 810G and ASTM B117 standards.

Deployment & Use Cases

The antenna is designed for IoT and M2M applications across industrial and agricultural environments. Application areas include smart utility metering for power, gas, and water; smart building systems such as climate control, access control, security, and irrigation; smart environmental and water systems; warehouses and logistics; industrial factory automation; and farming and agricultural M2M IoT deployments. Its low-profile form factor measures 306 mm in height with a 70 mm diameter, and it can be installed on a pole or wall using the supplied bracket or on a surface using an adhesive disc.

Regulatory Compliance

The antenna is RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant and manufactured under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. It carries CE marking and meets MIL-STD 810G and ASTM B117 standards for salt-spray exposure. The enclosure flammability rating is UL 94-HB. A 24-month warranty is provided.
