Performance and frequency coverage

The antenna covers cellular bands from 410-470 MHz, 698-960 MHz, 1710-2700 MHz, and 3400-3800 MHz, enabling use with multiple carriers and technologies. Its maximum gain on LTE ports reaches 5.8 dBi in the 1710-2700 MHz band, 3.5 dBi in 698-960 MHz, 4 dBi in 3400-3800 MHz, and 1 dBi in 410-470 MHz. The Wi-Fi system operates in the 2400-2500 MHz and 5000-6000 MHz bands with 7 dBi gain, while the GPS/GLONASS receiver achieves 21 dBi gain with a noise figure of ≤1.5 dB.

The 2x2 MIMO configuration for LTE and Wi-Fi provides pattern diversity and omnidirectional radiation capability at the desired elevation. The antenna supports Wi-Fi standards 3, 4, 5, 6, and 6E and is compatible with a wide range of LTE and 5G bands, including 5G bands n1 through n256.

Design and environmental resistance

The housing is made from UV-stable black ASA material, with dimensions of 253 mm x 128 mm x 144 mm and a weight of 1.36 kg. Its IP68 rating ensures protection against water and dust ingress, while its IK10 impact resistance makes it suitable for demanding environments. The antenna passes salt-fog testing to MIL-STD-810F/ASTM B117, making it ideal for marine and coastal applications.

The operating temperature range extends from -40°C to +80°C, with a relative humidity tolerance of up to 98%. The housing’s flammability rating is UL 94-HB. These features enable use in outdoor and indoor settings, including commercial, industrial, marine, coastal, transportation, and mobility applications.

Ports and connectivity

The antenna features five ports: ports 1 and 2 for LTE, ports 3 and 4 for Wi-Fi, and port 5 for GPS/GLONASS. Each LTE and Wi-Fi port uses 2-meter Twin HDF 195 coaxial cable, while the GPS port uses 2-meter RTK-031 cable. All connectors are SMA (male) with an RPSMA adapter included.

The nominal input impedance is 50 Ohm with vertical linear polarization. The antenna handles a feed power of 10 W, with a VSWR of ≤2.5:1 across 90% of cellular bands and ≤1.5:1 for GPS. The GPS/GLONASS system operates at a DC voltage of 2.7-3.3 V and a current of 5-15 mA.

Installation and mounting

The antenna offers multiple mounting options, including spike, surface, and magnetic mount, simplifying installation on a variety of vehicles and vessels. The MBK-1 mounting accessory is available as an add-on. Coaxial cable loss varies by frequency: 0.232 dB/m at 400 MHz, 0.362 dB/m at 900 MHz, 0.514 dB/m at 1800 MHz, and 0.603 dB/m at 3000 MHz.
