Performance & Coverage

The antenna covers all contemporary LTE operating frequencies from 698 to 2700 MHz, with gain values of 2.8 dBi in the 698–960 MHz band, 5 dBi in the 1710–2170 MHz band, and 4.5 dBi in the 2300–2700 MHz band. A peak gain of 5 dBi is achieved alongside a VSWR below 2:1 across the operating range. The antenna is designed for superior pattern control over the entire frequency range, making it an exceptional omni-directional antenna for its size and application. Input impedance is 50 Ohm nominal, and the feed power handling is rated at 10 W. The antenna provides a DC short path to ground and uses linear vertical polarisation.

Design & Construction

The OMNI-403 features a compact radome measuring 252 mm in height and 75 mm in diameter, including the BRKT-40 mounting bracket. The radome is manufactured from UV-stable marine-grade ASA in Brilliant White (Pantone P 179-1 C), providing resistance to UV exposure and saltwater. The enclosure carries an IP68 water-ingress protection rating, an IK10 impact-resistance rating, and a UL 94-HB flammability rating. Salt-spray protection is validated to MIL-STD 810F and ASTM B117 standards. The antenna weighs 0.35 kg and is suitable for both outdoor and indoor environmental conditions.

Mounting & Installation

The antenna fits directly to a standard 1-inch (14 TPI) marine mount, simplifying installation to most standard marine attachments. An N-Type (F) connector provides the RF interface. Optional mounting brackets BRKT-37, BRKT-38, and BRKT-39 are available as accessories. Wind survival is rated for speeds below 190 km/h, and the operating temperature range spans from -40°C to +80°C, matching the storage temperature range. Operating relative humidity is supported up to 98%.

LTE and 4G band support includes B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B7, B8, B9, B10, B12, B13, B14, B17, B18, B19, B20, B25, B26, B27, B28, B29, B30, B33, B34, B35, B36, B37, B38, B39, B40, B41, B44, B53, B65, B66, B67, B68, B69, B71, B74, B85, B103, and B106. Wi-Fi standard support covers Wi-Fi 3 (802.11g) in the 2.4–2.5 GHz range. The configuration is a single-port SISO antenna.

Compliance & Certifications

The antenna is RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant and manufactured under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. It carries CE marking and meets MIL-STD 810F and ASTM B117 standards for salt-spray resistance. The enclosure flammability rating is UL 94-HB, and impact resistance is rated to IK 10. A 24-month warranty is provided.
