Performance & Coverage
The PUCK-2 integrates two LTE antenna elements in a single housing, providing 2x2 MIMO connectivity across the 617–4200 MHz frequency range with a cellular frequency range extending to 617–6000 MHz. It supports 5G RedCap alongside 2G, 3G, 4G, and LTE technologies. Peak gain reaches 6 dBi, with per-band gain values of 0 dBi at 617–960 MHz, 1 dBi at 1427–1517 MHz, 5 dBi at 1710–2700 MHz, and 6 dBi at 3400–4200 MHz. The LTE gain is specified at 6.5 dBi.
The omni-directional radiation pattern with linear vertical polarisation delivers balanced coverage at the desired elevation, which is critical for LTE throughput and connection stability. Both LTE ports should be connected to the router or device to ensure best performance. VSWR is rated at ≤2.5:1 across both ports, and input impedance is 50 Ohm nominal.
Design & Durability
The housing carries an IP69K water ingress protection rating and is built from halogen-free PC+ABS with a UV-stable ASA radome in white. It withstands operating temperatures from -40°C to +80°C and relative humidity up to 98%. Wind survival is rated at ≤220 km/h, and the enclosure passes salt spray testing to MIL-STD 810G/ASTM B117.
Impact resistance is rated IK 10, and the enclosure flammability rating is UL 94-HB. The antenna is DC short protected and handles up to 10 W feed power. These properties make it suitable for both outdoor and indoor environmental conditions.
Mounting & Installation
Installation is supported through multiple mounting options including a Ø20 threaded spigot, pole, wall, surface, and magnetic mount. Each of the two LTE ports terminates in an SMA (M) connector via 2 m of RTK-031 coax cable. Coax cable loss varies by frequency, measuring 0.56 dB/m at 900 MHz, 0.71 dB/m at 1500 MHz, 0.785 dB/m at 1800 MHz, 0.91 dB/m at 2400 MHz, and 1.2 dB/m at 3000 MHz.
