The OMNI-280 antenna provides a solution for enhancing 4G, 3G, and 2G network signals. It is a single-polarized, omnidirectional full-band LTE antenna that integrates an ultra-wideband element in a single housing. The antenna improves signal reliability, increases data throughput, and ensures a stable, high-quality connection. It is backward compatible with 2G and 3G technologies, making it suitable for all applications using GSM networks, including LTE, HSPA, 3G, EDGE, and GPRS.

Applications

The antenna is ideal for M2M applications where machines and measuring devices are connected for real-time monitoring and data transmission, such as in telematics. Utility companies use it for electricity and water metering. In the security industry, it monitors cameras and other security equipment. Additional applications include point-of-sale retail equipment and areas with poor data signal reception, both indoors and outdoors.

Environment and Durability

The weatherproof housing meets IP65 protection standards and is designed for use in both indoor and outdoor environments. The antenna operates in temperatures from -40 °C to +70 °C and withstands wind speeds up to 120 km/h. The ABS radome is halogen-free, and the housing material is classified as flame-retardant. Impact resistance meets IK 08, and salt spray resistance is certified to MIL-STD 810F and ASTM B117.

Mounting and Connection

The antenna can be mounted on masts or walls, or attached magnetically or with hook-and-loop fasteners. A 2-meter RG-58 cable with an RA-SMA male connector is permanently attached. The white housing measures 157 mm × 61 mm × 44 mm, and the packaging dimensions are 250 mm × 150 mm × 50 mm.
