This architecture removes the need for long feeder cables, which are a primary source of RF loss in conventional outdoor installations. Short RG178 cables of 0.25 m connect the antennas to the router, preserving signal strength and contributing to faster data rates. The enclosure accommodates router modules up to 185 × 145 × 45 mm, making it compatible with a range of commercially available cellular routers. Cellular Performance Four cellular ports drive a 4×4 MIMO configuration with a peak gain of 11 dBi, measured at the antenna excluding cable loss. The cellular frequency range spans 617–4200 MHz, covering an extensive set of 5G and LTE bands. On the 5G side, supported bands include n1 through n256, encompassing sub-6 GHz allocations used by operators worldwide. LTE coverage extends across bands B1 through B106, ensuring broad operator compatibility for both urban and rural deployments. The antenna is uni-directional and cross-polarised, which helps maximise reception when aimed toward the serving cell site. Wi-Fi Performance Two dedicated Wi-Fi ports provide a 2×2 MIMO dual-band configuration operating at 2.4 GHz and 5–7.2 GHz. The Wi-Fi antenna element delivers 5 dBi gain in an omni-directional pattern. Supported standards include Wi-Fi 3 (802.11g), Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), and Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax), covering legacy through current-generation wireless protocols. This allows the enclosure to serve local Wi-Fi access directly from the outdoor-mounted router without a separate indoor access point. Installation & Mounting The enclosure supports pole mount, wall mount, and window mount installations, giving installers flexibility across different site conditions. All RF connections use SMA (F) connectors, matching the interface found on most cellular routers in this size class.
