Positioning & Connectivity
The FMB930 uses a 33-channel GNSS receiver with internal high-gain antenna to track GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BEIDOU, SBAS, QZSS, DGPS, and AGPS signals. Tracking sensitivity reaches -165 dBm, with position accuracy specified at less than 2.5 m CEP and velocity accuracy at less than 0.1 m/s within a +/- 15% error margin. Hot start is achieved in under one second, warm start in under 25 seconds, and cold start in under 35 seconds.
Cellular communication runs over GSM/GPRS quad-band at 850, 900, 1800, and 1900 MHz using the Teltonika TM2500 module. GPRS Multi-Slot Class 12 supports data transfer up to 240 kbps, and the device handles both SMS text and data as well as GPRS commands for configuration, digital output control, and debugging.

Bluetooth Low Energy & External Devices
Bluetooth 4.0 + LE enables the FMB930 to interface with a range of external peripherals. Supported devices include Teltonika EYE beacons and sensors, headsets, OBDII dongles, the Inateck Barcode Scanner, and universal Bluetooth Low Energy beacons and sensors. Fuel monitoring is available through a connected OBDII dongle, and ignition can be detected via Digital Input 2, the accelerometer, external power voltage, or engine RPM read through the OBDII dongle.

Power Management & Sleep Modes
The tracker accepts an input voltage from 10 to 90 V DC and carries an integrated 170 mAh Li-Ion backup battery rated at 0.63 Wh. Five sleep modes are available: GPS Sleep, Online Deep Sleep, Deep Sleep, Ultra Deep Sleep, and Power Off Sleep Mode. In Power Off Sleep Mode the device consumes less than 1 mA, making it suitable for deployments where conserving battery on electric vehicles is critical.

Configuration & Management
Configuration and firmware updates can be performed through FOTA Web, FOTA, or the Teltonika Configurator via USB or Bluetooth wireless technology. SMS commands support configuration, events, digital output control, and debugging, while GPRS commands cover configuration, digital output control, and debugging. Time synchronization is handled through GPS, NITZ, or NTP. The device includes 128 MB of internal flash memory and two status LED indicators for operational feedback.

I/O & Physical Interface
The FMB930 provides one digital input and two digital outputs rated up to 40 V. A USB 2.0 Micro-USB port serves for wired configuration and firmware updates, and cellular connectivity uses a Micro-SIM card. Both the GNSS and cellular antennas are internal high-gain designs, eliminating the need for external antenna wiring. An integrated accelerometer supports ignition detection and motion-based events.
