Protocol Support and Automation

The TSW202 supports PROFINET for automated data processing in industrial control networks. It also covers EtherNet/IP, allowing the switch to be used in heterogeneous automation environments with different industrial standards. With MRP (Media Redundancy Protocol), the device provides redundant ring topologies that increase fault tolerance in critical network paths.

Switching Architecture and Management

As a managed switch, the TSW202 operates at Layer 2 and offers additional Layer-3 functionality for enhanced management and control. The TSWOS operating system is developed specifically for Teltonika Networks switches and provides the configuration and management interface. The combination of eight Gigabit Ethernet ports and two SFP ports allows simultaneous connection of local devices via copper as well as integration of remote network segments via fibre.
