Performance and Connectivity

Operating in the unlicensed 5 GHz band, the LiteBeam GPS leverages the airMAX ac protocol for long-distance wireless links. It supports Point-to-Multipoint (PtMP) and Point-to-Point (PtP) modes, with selectable channel widths of 10/20/30/40 MHz in PtMP and up to 80 MHz in PtP. Automatic channel selection, automatic or manual transmit power control, and automatic distance adjustment (ACK Timing) continuously optimize the link.

Installation and Design

Quick mounting requires no tools; a single wrench is all that’s needed for pole installation. The integrated ball joint allows precise angle adjustment. The lightweight antenna incorporates the radio in a compact, unobtrusive housing. The Gigabit Ethernet port ensures high-speed wired backhaul.

The airOS v8 operating system features a redesigned, HTML5-based user interface optimized for mobile devices. Configuration changes are applied dynamically with instant validation. The airMagic tool simplifies channel selection. The LAP-GPS model includes a dedicated Wi-Fi radio, enabling easy initial setup via the UNMS app without a prior wired connection.
