Features & Applications

The G6 180 Enhancer combines three expansion functions in a single module that attaches precisely to the UVC-G6-180 camera. The long-range infrared illumination enhances visibility in darkness up to 40 m, while the integrated 600-lm floodlight provides targeted lighting for the monitored area. The additionally integrated buzzer enables acoustic signals, complementing visual surveillance with an audio component.

This makes the Enhancer particularly suitable for outdoor areas, driveways, building facades, storage and logistics spaces, and other security-sensitive zones where the capabilities of the G6 180 camera need to be extended for nighttime use and active signaling.

Design & Environmental Conditions

The housing is made of aluminum alloy and polycarbonate, while the mount is constructed from aluminum alloy. With IP66 certification, the module is protected against dust and powerful water jets, making it ideal for outdoor installations. The permissible operating temperature range is between -20 and +50 °C, with a humidity level of 10 to 90 % (non-condensing).

The Enhancer measures 168.7 × 130.6 × 80 mm and weighs 400 g. The black finish provides a seamless extension that is visually matched to the G6 180 camera.

Compatibility & Power Supply

Power is supplied via the connected UVC-G6-180 camera at 5 V DC and 2 A; the maximum power consumption is 10 W. Management and configuration are handled through UniFi Protect in the web application as well as the UniFi Protect mobile apps for iOS and Android.

The accessory is NDAA-compliant and holds FCC, IC, and CE certifications.
