Proprietary LTU Technology
The LTU Lite is built on Ubiquiti's proprietary LTU chip and radio architecture, which is not bound by the limitations of standard 802.11 Wi-Fi. This design enables up to 600+ Mbit/s of real TCP/IP throughput (1+ Gbit/s with future firmware) and supports modulation rates up to 4096QAM, ensuring robust, high-capacity connections even in interference-heavy RF environments.
Flexible Installation & Configuration
As a subscriber station in a PtMP network with the LTU Rocket base station, the LTU Lite offers versatile CPE modes. Choose bridged mode for transparent Layer 2 connectivity or integrated hardware NAT router mode to best fit your network architecture. Frequency split enables separate TX and RX channels, while channel-width options from 10 MHz to 50 MHz (up to 100 MHz with future firmware) provide precise control to avoid local interference.
Smart Signal Management
The "Automatic Transmit Power" feature automatically sets the appropriate EIRP value, and the AP's target transmit power controls the LTU Lite's output power. This coordinated signal control increases network stability and maintains the highest possible modulation for optimal radio performance.
Installation & Management
The LTU Lite is designed for quick installation and can easily be mounted on a pole or wall using the included mounting hardware. Manage the device via the intuitive LTU configuration interface or centrally through the Ubiquiti Network Management System (UNMS), both of which provide full control over network settings and monitoring.
