Image Quality and Smart Detection

The 5 MP CMOS sensor captures detailed 2K video at a resolution of 2688 x 1512 pixels at 30 frames per second. The fixed 2.8 mm focal length (f/1.6) provides a wide field of view of 102.4° (H), 54.9° (V), and 120.6° (D). Extensive image settings—such as brightness, contrast, sharpness, white balance, exposure control, and 2D/3D noise reduction—can be adjusted in UniFi Protect. The built-in smart detection reliably distinguishes between people, vehicles, and animals to minimize false alarms.

Night Vision and Audio

In low-light conditions, the built-in IR LEDs automatically activate, enabling clear night vision up to 6 meters. A mechanical IR cut filter ensures natural color reproduction during the day. The two-way audio system with speaker and microphone allows direct communication with individuals in front of the camera—the microphone can be disabled in UniFi Protect if needed.

Durable Design for Outdoor Use

The housing and wall mount are made of impact-resistant polycarbonate and are IPX5-rated for protection against water jets. The IK04 certification confirms resistance to mechanical impacts. The camera operates reliably in ambient temperatures from -20 to 40 °C and humidity levels of 0 to 90% (non-condensing). With dimensions of just 81.6 x 50 x 47.2 mm and a weight of 125 g (without mount), it blends discreetly into any environment.

Flexible Power and Connectivity

Power is supplied via the included 5V/2A USB-C adapter. An optional Instant PoE-to-USB adapter is available for powering the camera via PoE. The integrated dual-band WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) ensures a stable wireless connection, while Bluetooth supports additional functionality. A factory reset button and a multi-color R/G/B/W status LED complete the hardware features.

Management with UniFi Protect

The camera seamlessly integrates into the UniFi Protect platform and can be adopted and configured via the web interface or mobile app (iOS/Android). All settings—from motion detection to image parameters and privacy zones—are managed centrally. H.264 and MJPEG compression ensure efficient storage usage while maintaining high image quality.
