Connectivity & WAN Failover

The router provides 4G LTE Cat 4 mobile connectivity with downlink speeds of up to 150 Mbps and uplink speeds of up to 50 Mbps. Two Micro-SIM slots with auto-failover ensure continuous service if one carrier connection fails. The device supports multiple WAN sources—cellular, Ethernet WAN, and Wi-Fi—with failover and load balancing between them. One of the four Fast Ethernet ports can be configured as an Ethernet WAN port, enabling switching between broadband and 4G LTE connections. Ethernet WAN modes include Dynamic IP, Static IP, PPPoE, PPTP, and L2TP. Connection monitoring triggers a reboot via ping or DNS query when needed.

VPN & Security

Multiple VPN protocols are supported, including IPSec, OpenVPN, PPTP, L2TP, and GRE, providing encrypted tunnels for remote access and site-to-site connectivity. VPN pass-through is available for IPSec, PPTP, and L2TP. The firewall includes SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection), IPS, and port forwarding. Access control features include MAC/IP filtering and URL blocking. Wi-Fi security covers WPA/WPA2, WPA2-PSK, WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK, and 802.1x, with encryption options including WEP, AES, and TKIP/AES.

Management & Diagnostics

Management is available via a web UI, SMS, and the D-ECS cloud platform for centralized remote management of connected M2M devices. Diagnostic tools include Ping and Tracert. The system supports firmware upgrades, configuration backup and restore, and reboot and reset functions. Logging is available via system log and external Syslog server, with log storage on a Micro-SD card. Device status monitoring tracks CPU and memory usage, WAN status, and client lists. Cellular status monitoring provides detailed metrics such as IMSI, ICCID, operator, connection status, connected band, RSSI, SINR, RSRP, RSRQ, LAC, TAC, cell ID, MCC, and MNC.

Network Features & Routing

The router supports IPv4 and IPv6 with port forwarding, DHCP server/relay, VLAN, NAT, and bridge mode. LAN and VLAN features include DHCP server/relay and port- and tag-based VLAN. Supported routing protocols include Static, dynamic RIPv1/v2, OSPF, and BGP. DDNS services include DynDNS, No-IP, and Dynamic DO. Cellular modes offer NAT and bridge operation.

Wi-Fi & GNSS

Wi-Fi 4 N300 operates in the 2.4 GHz band with data rates of up to 300 Mbps. Wi-Fi features include multi-SSID, WIDS, and AP-router mode. The integrated GNSS receiver supports GPS and GLONASS. Antenna connectors consist of two SMA (F) connectors for cellular, two SMA (RP-F) connectors for Wi-Fi, and one SMA (F) connector for GPS.

The router is designed for M2M networks and is ideal for applications in retail stores and branches, remote locations, smart bus stops, and pop-up or booth environments. The embedded Wi-Fi technology allows technicians to perform remote maintenance without physical disassembly.
