Powerful Mobile Connectivity

The Dome Pro LR uses two embedded 5G modems capable of up to 3.4 Gbps downlink and 900 Mbps uplink. For 4G/LTE, CAT-20 data rates of 1.6 Gbps (downlink) and 200 Mbps (uplink) are available. The eight internal, range-optimized antennas enable stable connections even under challenging signal conditions – in tests, distances of over 40 kilometers from the coast have been achieved. The device supports a wide range of 5G (SA & NSA) and LTE bands and is certified for use in North America with AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and FirstNet.

Flexible Deployment and Power Supply

Thanks to its IP67-certified housing, the router withstands extreme environmental conditions from -40 °C to +65 °C and humidity levels from 15% to 95% (non-condensing). Power can be supplied via 802.3at PoE+ or 802.3bt PoE++, with a PoE output (802.3at) that can also power a connected device. A single cable is sufficient for data and power – ideal for pole or wall mounting. Two Ethernet ports (1x GE WAN/LAN with PoE output, 1x 2.5GE LAN with PoE input) allow integration of additional WAN sources such as Starlink or VSAT.

Security, VPN, and Central Management

Peplink's SpeedFusion VPN forms the core of fail-safe site-to-site networking. It offers Hot Failover, WAN Smoothing, and bandwidth bonding with throughput of 400 Mbps (unencrypted) or 200 Mbps (256-bit AES). This is complemented by IPsec VPN, PPTP, RADIUS/LDAP authentication, and dynamic routing. A stateful firewall, DoS prevention, and web blocking protect the network. Comprehensive QoS features prioritize business-critical applications. The integrated AP controller automatically manages Pepwave Access Points, while the GPS module provides location data for fleet management and InControl 2. SIM flexibility ranges from Nano-SIM to Peplink eSIM and BYO eSIM (two profiles per modem), as well as RemoteSIM and FusionSIM; up to eight additional physical SIMs can be integrated via a SIM Injector.
