The Poynting EPNT-4 is an omnidirectional 5G/LTE antenna with 4x4 MIMO, covering the frequency range from 617 to 4200 MHz and also integrating Wi-Fi antennas for 2.4 GHz and 5 to 7.2 GHz, as well as a GPS antenna, all in a single IP67- and IK10-certified housing.

Performance & Antenna Technology
The EPNT-4 combines multiple antenna types in a single housing. The four cellular 5G/LTE antennas operate across a broad frequency range from 617 to 4200 MHz, covering the bands 617–960 MHz, 1427–1517 MHz, 1710–2700 MHz, and 3400–4200 MHz. The antenna elements are cross-polarised (±45°), improving overall antenna performance. Maximum gain reaches 3 dBi in the 1710–2700 MHz range, 2 dBi at 1427–1517 MHz, and 1 dBi at 617–960 MHz.
Additionally, two Wi-Fi antennas are integrated for the frequency ranges 2400–2500 MHz and 5000–7200 MHz, each with a maximum gain of 2.2 dBi. A further GPS antenna operates at 1575.42 MHz and 1600 MHz with a maximum gain of 21 ± 2 dBi. The GPS antenna features a noise figure of ≤1.5 dB and out-of-band filter attenuation of at least 12 dB at f0+50 MHz and at least 16 dB at f0−50 MHz.
Housing & Environmental Protection
The EPNT-4 housing is IP67-rated for dust and water resistance and IK10-certified for impact resistance. The radome is made from UV-stable ASA material in Brilliant White (Pantone P 179-1 C). The antenna complies with MIL-STD 810G and ASTM B117 salt spray test standards, making it suitable for corrosive environments. The housing flammability rating is UL 94-HB.
The permissible operating temperature range spans from -40 °C to +80 °C, with relative humidity up to 98% during operation. The antenna withstands wind speeds of up to 220 km/h; the included mounting bracket is rated for up to 190 km/h, while optional brackets and surface mounts support up to 220 km/h.
Mounting & Installation
The EPNT-4 supports wall, mast, and surface mounting. The housing includes a compartment for a router with maximum dimensions of 140 mm × 120 mm × 50 mm. The RTK-031-type coaxial cables are 150 mm long and exhibit an attenuation of 0.71 dB/m at 1500 MHz. LTE and GPS connectors are RA SMA (M), while Wi-Fi connectors are RA RPSMA (M). The input impedance is 50 ohms (nominal), the maximum input power is 10 W, and the voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) is below 3:1.
Compliance & Certifications
The EPNT-4 complies with the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU, is ISO 9001:2015 certified, and bears the CE mark. Environmental specifications include IP67, IK10, MIL-STD 810G, ASTM B117, and UL 94-HB. Poynting provides a 24-month warranty on the antenna.
