Description

Key Benefits at a Glance

  • Cellular: 4G LTE Cat 4 with 3G and 2G fallback for broad network coverage
  • eSIM™: Up to seven profiles based on SGP.22 architecture, in parallel with physical SIM
  • WAN Failover: Automatic switchover for continuous connection
  • Ethernet: Two ports for wired network integration
  • RutOS: Operating system for advanced network solutions
  • Digital I/O: Inputs and outputs for solution automation

Connectivity & eSIM™

The router supports cellular technologies 4G LTE (Cat 4), 3G, and 2G, enabling multiple network generations for flexible deployment across locations. The eSIM™ functionality is based on the SGP.22 architecture and allows up to seven eSIM™ profiles to be used alongside a physical SIM card. This makes it possible to manage different mobile carriers and profiles without physically changing the SIM card. Automatic WAN failover ensures that if one connection is lost, the system switches to an alternative available connection.

Design & Deployment

The housing is designed as a compact industrial form factor, targeting IoT and M2M environments where space and reliability are equally critical. Two Ethernet ports enable wired connections for local devices or integration into existing network infrastructures. Digital inputs and outputs are available for automating solutions, allowing the router to directly interface with sensors or controllers. The Wi-Fi access point with hotspot functionality complements connectivity for wireless devices at the deployment site.

Management & Operating System

The operating system used is RutOS, which provides advanced networking features for professional deployments. RutOS allows central configuration of routing, failover, and security functions. The combination of RutOS, automatic WAN failover, and digital I/O ports makes the router a platform that integrates connectivity and automation in a single device.
