Connectivity & Failover

The RUT241 supports the cellular standards 4G LTE (Cat 4), 3G, and 2G, ensuring broad coverage across different network generations. Automatic WAN failover ensures that if the primary connection fails, the system seamlessly switches to an available backup connection, maintaining connection continuity.

eSIM™ Functionality

The router offers eSIM™ support based on the SGP.22 architecture, enabling the management of up to seven eSIM™ profiles in addition to a physical SIM card. This combination of eSIM™ and a physical SIM slot provides users with flexibility in selecting and switching mobile carriers without needing to physically open the device.

Design & Interfaces

The RUT241 features a rugged, industrial, and compact design, making it ideal for use in IoT and M2M environments. Two Ethernet ports are available for wired network connections. Digital inputs and outputs allow for remote monitoring and control of connected devices, as well as the implementation of automation scenarios. A wireless access point with hotspot functionality further enhances connectivity options via Wi-Fi.

RutOS & Automation

The RUT241 runs on the advanced RutOS operating system, which, combined with digital inputs and outputs, enables automation scenarios for IoT solutions. The integration of RutOS software and I/O interfaces allows the router to serve as an active node in automated processes, not only forwarding data but also responding to events and executing control commands.
