Performance & Connectivity

The RUTX12 is equipped with two LTE Cat 6 modems, achieving cellular speeds of up to 600 Mbps. Supported cellular technologies include 4G/LTE Cat 6 and 3G. For wired connections, five Gigabit Ethernet ports are available. The Wi-Fi supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11ac/n/a in the 5 GHz band, and can operate as either an access point or a station.

Design & Power Supply

The router’s housing is made of aluminium and includes a DIN rail mounting option as well as a grounding connection. Its operating temperature range spans from -40 °C to 75 °C, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments. Power is supplied via a 4-pin connector with an input voltage range of 9 to 50 VDC. With dimensions of 132 x 44 x 95 mm and a weight of 540 g, the router is compact for use in control cabinets.

Management & Features

The device runs RutOS, an OpenWrt-based Linux operating system designed for advanced networking solutions. It integrates Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy for short-range wireless communication. A 4-pin socket provides one digital input and one digital open-collector output. A USB host port offers an additional interface for peripherals. The GNSS module supports the satellite systems GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, and QZSS.
