Connectivity and Performance

The board supports 4G LTE Cat 6 mobile connectivity at speeds up to 300 Mbps and 3G at speeds up to 42 Mbps. LTE-FDD bands include B1, B3, B7, B8, B20, B28A for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Korea, Thailand, India, and Malaysia, as well as B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B7, B8, B28 for South America, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, and Malaysia. LTE-TDD covers bands B38, B40, B41, and B40 for the two regional groups.

Maximum RF output power is 33 dBm for GSM, 24 dBm for WCDMA, and 23 dBm for LTE. The SMA male antenna connector operates in the 698–960 and 1710–2690 MHz frequency ranges with 50 Ohm impedance, VSWR under 2, and a gain of 2 dBi. The Mini SIM (2FF) slot supports 1.8 V or 3 V.

For wired connectivity, one RJ45 port supports 10/100/1000 Mbps speeds with auto MDI/MDIX. The USB port provides a virtual network interface for configuration and data transfer.

Network Protocols and VPN

The device supports network protocols TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6, ICMP, NTP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL v3, TLS, SSH, DHCP, MQTT, and Wake on LAN. The RutOS operating system, based on OpenWrt Linux, manages the board’s networking functions.

For secure VPN connections, OpenVPN is available with twelve encryption methods, including AES-128-CBC, AES-192-CBC, and AES-256-CBC, as well as IPsec with five encryption methods: DES, 3DES, AES128, AES192, and AES256. The platform supports up to five simultaneous IPsec tunnels.

Design and Power

The board is housed in an aluminum enclosure measuring 64.4 × 74.5 × 25 mm and weighing 134 g. Mounting options include DIN-rail (bottom or side), flat-surface installation, or direct PCB mounting on a DIN-rail. The ingress protection rating is IP30.

The input voltage range is 9–30 V DC with power consumption under 5 W. Passive PoE is supported via spare pairs on the LAN port, incompatible with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at standards. Surge protection exceeds 33 V DC. The included power adapter delivers 9 V DC at 0.5 A and draws 0.4 A at an input voltage of 100–240 V AC.

Certification and Compliance

The device complies with CE/RED, EAC, RoHS, and WEEE standards. It meets the requirements of IEC 62368-1:2014 (2nd edition), EN 62368-1:2014+A11:2017, EN 50385:2017, and EN 62232:2017. RF standards include EN 300 511 V12.5.1, ETSI EN 301 908-1 V11.1.1, ETSI EN 301 908-1 V11.1.2, EN 301 908-2 V11.1.2, ETSI EN 301 908-13 V11.1.2, Draft ETSI EN 301 489-1 V2.2.0, and Draft ETSI EN 301 489-19 V2.1.0.
