Power & Protection

The injector converts AC mains to 24VDC at up to 1.0A, delivering 24W of output power with efficiency exceeding 80%. Integrated surge protection employs difference and common mode clamping, with 11V data and 60V power clamping thresholds. It handles a maximum surge discharge of 1500A (8/20 μs) on the power line and peak pulse current of 36A (10/1000 μs) on data lines, while shunt capacitance remains below 5 pF and response time under 1 ns. These safeguards help shield connected equipment from transient voltage spikes and ESD events.

Connectivity & Design

A shielded RJ45 socket provides the data input and PoE output, while the AC connector uses an IEC-320 C6 inlet. The unit supports 4-pair powering on pins 1, 2, 4, 5 (+) and 3, 6, 7, 8 (-). A Gigabit LAN port ensures full-rate data passthrough. Compact dimensions of 88 x 57 x 33 mm and a weight of 158.5 g allow flexible placement in equipment racks or on desktops.

Compliance & Reliability

The POE-24-AF5X is certified to CE, FCC, IC, and UL standards. It operates reliably in ambient temperatures from 0 to 40°C and can be stored in conditions ranging from -30 to 70°C, with operating humidity tolerance of 35 to 95% noncondensing. The power supply accepts 100–240VAC at 50/60Hz, with input current of 0.6A at 120VAC and 0.4A at 240VAC, and inrush current below 60A peak at 120VAC and below 120A peak at 230VAC. Output ripple is held to 1% maximum, with line regulation ≤ 3% and load regulation ≤ 5% at a switching frequency of 65 kHz.
