Power Delivery & Efficiency

The injector supplies 24VDC at up to 1.0A, delivering a full 24W of power over 2-pair wiring (pins 4, 5+ and 7, 8-). Its internal power supply accepts a wide input range of 100–240VAC at 50/60Hz via an IEC-320 C6 connector, drawing 0.6A at 120VAC or 0.4A at 240VAC. With an efficiency rating exceeding 80% and output ripple held to 1% maximum, the unit ensures clean, stable power for sensitive networking hardware.

The integrated Gigabit LAN port maintains full line-rate data pass-through, eliminating bottlenecks between the switch and the powered device. Line and load regulation are tightly controlled at ≤3% and ≤5% respectively, preserving consistent voltage under varying conditions.

Protection & Reliability

Robust surge protection is built in, featuring difference and common mode clamping. The data line clamping threshold is 11V, while the power line clamps at 60V. A maximum surge discharge rating of 1500A (8/20 μs) on the power side and a peak pulse current of 36A (10/1000 μs) on the data side help shield connected equipment from transient events. Response time is under 1 nanosecond, and shunt capacitance on data lines remains below 5 pF to preserve signal integrity.

The injector is designed to operate reliably in ambient temperatures from 0 to 40°C and humidity levels of 35 to 95% noncondensing. It carries CE, FCC, IC, and UL certifications, and is backed by a 12-month warranty.

Management & Control

A front-panel reset button allows local manual power cycling, while remote reset capability enables administrators to reboot the connected device from a central location without physical access. The compact housing measures 88 x 57 x 33 mm and weighs just 158.5 g, making it easy to mount in wiring closets or behind equipment.
