Performance & Switching Architecture

The ECS-Core delivers a switching capacity of 3.2 Tbps, enabling high-density 100G switching in the core of enterprise networks. Its non-blocking switching architecture ensures full bandwidth is available simultaneously on all ports without throughput loss. As a Layer 3 switch, the device handles routing functions in the core network and supports direct Layer 3 processing of data streams.

High Availability & Installation

Support for Multi-Chassis Link Aggregation (MC-LAG) allows the creation of high-availability system designs in which multiple switches operate as a single logical unit. A redundant power supply and cooling design enhances enterprise reliability and reduces single points of failure. For installation, the switch requires a 4-post rack; for 2-post racks, a center-mount bracket or cantilever rack is necessary to ensure optimal support.
