The packet buffer is 8 MB, and the MAC address table supports up to 32,000 entries. With support for 1,000 VLANs, 512 IPv4 static routes, and 256 IPv4- and MAC-based access lists each, the device is ideal for complex, segmented network environments. Jumbo frames are supported, as well as LACP port aggregation, STP/RSTP, and DSCP-based QoS. PTPv2 & Media Synchronization The switch implements IEEE 1588-2008 PTPv2 with hardware timestamping on all Ethernet and QSFP28 ports. It supports the clock roles Grandmaster, Boundary Clock, and Transparent Clock, with Boundary Clock operation exclusively in two-step mode. Supported profiles include IEEE 1588, SMPTE 2059-2, AES67, and AES-R16. The end-to-end delay mechanism is supported, as well as Layer 2 Ethernet and UDP/IPv4 transport. For custom profiles, sync, announce, and delay-request intervals can be configured from −3 to +4, the announce-receipt timeout from 2 to 9, and the PTP domain number can be freely set. The BMCA operates with configurable Priority1 and Priority2 values. Pro AV Features & Profiles Predefined Pro AV profiles for Play, Dante, Q-SYS, NDI, SDVoE, Shure, AES67, and Crestron simplify the deployment of specialized media systems. Advanced IGMP configurations with querier, fast leave, and router port functionality are available, complemented by IGMP snooping for efficient multicast handling. Virtual Network Override, Voice VLAN, LLDP-MED, and port mirroring round out the AV-specific features. A 1.3-inch touchscreen display provides local status information, and Etherlighting is available on both Ethernet and QSFP28 ports. Security & Network Access The switch supports 802.1X port-based access control as well as MAC-based ACLs with device isolation. DHCP snooping and guarding protect against rogue DHCP servers, while IP-based ACLs with network isolation and MAC-based port restrictions further limit access. Port isolation, MAC address blocking, storm control, and multicast and broadcast rate limiting prevent network congestion and unwanted traffic. Egress rate limiting, flow control, and loop protection complement the port-level security mechanisms. Power Supply & Redundancy Two hot-swappable AC/DC power modules, each rated at 1,200W, power the switch via universal 100–240V AC inputs at 50/60 Hz. The total PoE budget is 2,150W in shared mode at 200–240V AC or 1,850W at 100–120V AC. In redundancy mode, 1,050W is available at 200–240V AC or 850W at 100–120V AC. Maximum power consumption is 150W without PoE output and 2,400W including PoE output. Four hot-swappable fan modules ensure cooling, and heat dissipation is 512 BTU/hr without PoE output.
