Performance & Throughput

A 16-core Intel Xeon-SP Gold 5218 processor running at 2.3 GHz drives the console, paired with two 16 GB DDR4 ECC RDIMM modules for a total of 32 GB of system memory. On-board storage is provided by a single 256 GB M.2 2280 SATA drive. This hardware foundation enables the console to manage up to 1,000 UniFi devices and sustain 10,000 simultaneously connected clients.

Networking & Connectivity

The console provides one 10G SFP+ LAN port that supports 10G and 1G speeds, one GbE RJ45 LAN port operating at 1G, 100M, or 10M, and a dedicated GbE RJ45 management LAN port with the same speed range. Management is accessible through Ethernet and Bluetooth interfaces, with Bluetooth enabling instant setup. A 1.3-inch touchscreen LCM display provides local status information on the front panel.

Design & Power

The appliance occupies a full 1U rack-mount form factor, measuring 787 x 43.7 x 481.4 mm and weighing 13.1 kg. The front panel is aluminium while the chassis and mount material are SGCC steel. Power is delivered through two hot-swappable AC/DC 550W power supply units, accepting universal AC input at 100–240V AC, 7A maximum, and 50/60 Hz. Maximum power consumption is 190W, with heat dissipation rated at 648 BTU/hr. Power supply LEDs indicate operational state: off signals no AC power, steady green confirms AC power and DC output active, flashing green indicates AC power present with DC output inactive, steady amber reports AC power loss or failure events, and flashing amber signals warning events.

Management & Features

The console runs the UniFi Application Suite, including UniFi Network, which requires version 7.3.83 or later. A factory reset button is provided for recovery. ESD and EMP protection is rated at ±15kV for air discharge and ±8kV for contact discharge. The appliance is NDAA compliant and carries CE, FCC, and IC certifications.
