Performance & Camera Support
The recorder is powered by an 8-core ARM processor running at 2.5 GHz and 32 GB of RAM. It supports up to 70 cameras in 4K resolution, 140 cameras in 2K, or 210 cameras in Full HD. In addition to cameras, the same recorder can manage up to 300 access hubs, consolidating video surveillance and access control into a single platform.

Storage & Data Protection
The sixteen drive bays accommodate 2.5- or 3.5-inch HDDs or SSDs. A configurable RAID setup ensures protection for stored video data. The recommended storage type is SATA 3.5-inch enterprise HDDs, with each bay supporting up to 24 TB as an example. The maximum power draw for the drives is 310 W.

Network & Power Supply
For uplink connectivity, the unit offers two 10G SFP+ ports and one 10-GbE RJ45 port. Power is supplied via two AC inputs (100–240 V, max 7 A, 50/60 Hz), designed for redundancy and hot-swappability. Two hot-swappable 550 W CRPS power supplies are included. The device’s maximum total power consumption is 410 W.

Form Factor & Mounting
The recorder is housed in a 3U rack-mount chassis made of SGCC steel, with mounting hardware in aluminum. Dimensions are 481.4 × 480 × 132 mm. Management is performed over Ethernet. The recorder integrates with UniFi Protect, UniFi Access, and UniFi Connect, unifying video surveillance, access control, and UniFi Connect in a single interface. It supports door-access functionality and is NDAA-compliant.
