The Ubiquiti UniFi Enterprise NVR Core is a 3U rackmount network video recorder with 16 bays for 2.5″/3.5″ HDDs and SSDs, capable of managing up to 300 4K cameras, 400 2K cameras, or 500 HD cameras, as well as over 300 access hubs. Powered by a 128-core Arm v8.2 processor at 2.6 GHz and 64 GB of RAM, it features two 25G SFP28 ports for high-bandwidth network connectivity. In addition to video surveillance, the device manages over 300 access hubs and supports door access control as well as Vantage Point functionality. Storage capacity starts with 16 internal 3.5″ bays, which can be fitted with either 2.5″ or 3.5″ HDDs or SSDs. Via two SFF-8644 expansion ports with 24G bandwidth, storage can be expanded to a total of up to 48 drives, with a maximum drive power budget of 313W. Design & Power Supply The chassis is constructed from SGCC steel and is designed for installation in 19″ four-post racks with square holes (9.5 × 9.5 mm) and post depths of 600 to 1,066 mm. Dimensions are 481.4 × 550 × 132 mm, and the weight is 20.5 kg without rails and 23.4 kg with rails. A 3U Bezel Lite front panel is included; a full 3U Bezel front panel is available as an option. Power is supplied via two AC inputs (100–240 V, 7 A max., 50/60 Hz), designed for redundancy and hot-swappability, combined with a hot-swappable 550W CRPS power supply. The system’s maximum power consumption is 237W. Status LEDs for SFP28, HDD, system, CRPS, and expansion ports provide direct visibility into the operational status of all critical components. Management & Deployment Management is handled through the UniFi Protect, UniFi Access, and UniFi Connect applications, with network connectivity via Ethernet and Bluetooth. For mobile access, the system supports UniFi Protect for iOS (version 3.3.0 or later) and UniFi Protect for Android (version 3.2.0 or later). The device offers data protection and Vantage Point features and is designed for use in controlled indoor environments with relative humidity of 20 to 90 % (non-condensing).
