Features of the Ubiquiti Cat6 Patch Cable blue

The cable uses twisted copper strands (stranded copper) in 30 AWG and an unshielded twisted pair (UTP) construction. The jacket is made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), keeping the cable flexible yet thin. With a minimum bend radius of 24 mm, it can be routed through densely packed cable trays without compromising performance.

The flexible RJ45 boots are designed to adapt to tight spaces, reducing installation effort in rack environments with many ports. The combination of GbE support and PoE up to PoE+++ makes the cable ideal for applications where both data and power are transmitted over a single line.

Operating Conditions and Compliance

The cable is designed for indoor use. Installation temperature ranges from 0 to 60 °C, and storage temperature from -20 to 80 °C. Compliance with TIA/EIA-568-B.2 and ISO/IEC 11801 confirms adherence to Cat6 transmission standards. The flame rating FT-2 (UL1581) further ensures safe indoor use.
