Performance & Throughput
The switch delivers a switching capacity of 680 Gbps and a non-blocking total throughput of 340 Gbps at a forwarding rate of 506 Mpps. The MAC address table supports 32,000 entries, and up to 1,000 VLANs are available. With 512 IPv4 static routes, an 8 MB packet buffer, and 256 IPv4- and MAC-based access lists each, the device provides the capacity for demanding Layer 3 routing scenarios.

Layer 3 features include inter-VLAN routing and static routing for local networks. LACP port aggregation with cross-stack LAG, as well as STP and RSTP, ensure reliable connection architectures. Jumbo frames are also supported.

PoE & Power Supply
All 48 RJ45 PoE ports support PoE+++ and deliver up to 90 W per port. Maximum PoE availability is 2,150 W in shared mode at 200–240 V AC and 950 W in redundant mode at 200–240 V AC. At 100–120 V AC, 1,750 W is available in shared mode and 750 W in redundant mode.

Power is supplied via two hot-swappable AC/DC power modules, each rated at 1,200 W, operating at 100–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz. Maximum power consumption is 2,400 W including PoE output and 250 W without PoE output. Heat dissipation is 853 BTU/hr without PoE output.

Management & Features
Management is handled via the UniFi Network platform from version 10.6.101 and includes a 1 GbE out-of-band management port and a serial console port. A 1.3" touchscreen LCM display enables local management directly on the device. Etherlighting™ on Ethernet and SFP28 ports, along with LEDs for Ethernet, SFP28, and system status, supports physical port identification.

The switch also offers a DHCP server and DHCP relay for local networks, Virtual Network Override, Voice VLAN, LLDP-MED, and port mirroring. Pro-AV profiles for Play, Dante, Q-SYS, NDI, SDVoE, Shure, AES67, and Crestron are integrated, complemented by IGMP snooping and advanced IGMP configuration with querier, fast leave, and router port.

Security & Compliance
The switch supports 802.1X port-based access control, MAC-based ACLs with device isolation, IP-based ACLs with network isolation, MAC-based port restriction, and port isolation. DHCP snooping & guarding, MAC address blocking, loop protection, and storm control protect against internal and external threats. Egress rate limiting, flow control, and multicast and broadcast rate limiting enable granular bandwidth control.

The device is NDAA-compliant and features robust ESD protection. ESD protection is rated at ±30 kV in air and ±19 kV for contact.

Design & Chassis
The switch is designed as a 1U rackmount chassis in full-depth form factor for 19" four-post racks with post depths of 650 to 1,000 mm. The chassis and mounting brackets are made of SGCC steel. Dimensions are 442.4 × 44 × 496 mm, and the weight is 9.5 kg without brackets and 9.6 kg with brackets.

Four hot-swappable fan modules provide cooling.
