This Ubiquiti Layer 3 switch features 48 PoE+++ ports delivering up to 90 W per port, with a total PoE availability of 1,080 W at 200-240V AC. It combines 32 10 GbE ports, 16 2.5 GbE ports, and 4 25G SFP28 ports for high-density enterprise deployments. The MAC address table supports up to 32,000 entries and the packet buffer is 8 MB. The chassis supports 1,000 VLANs, 512 IPv4 static routes, as well as 256 IPv4 access lists and 256 MAC access lists. Ports and PoE Power The front panel features 32 10 GbE RJ45 ports, 16 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports, and 4 25G SFP28 ports. The 48 RJ45 ports support PoE+++ with per-port power ranging from 15.4 W with PoE up to 90 W with PoE+++. The 10 GbE ports negotiate at 10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100M/10M, the 2.5 GbE ports at 2.5G/1G/100M/10M, and the SFP28 ports at 25G/10G/1G. Total PoE availability reaches 1,080 W at 200-240V AC and 972 W at 100-120V AC. The internal 1,350 W AC/DC power supply accepts a voltage range of 100–240V AC at 50/60 Hz. DC power backup redundancy is provided via the USP RPS DC input. Maximum power consumption is 200 W without PoE and 1,280 W with PoE at 200-240V AC, or 1,172 W at 100-120V AC. Management and Features Management is performed over Ethernet through UniFi Network, starting with version 9.1.120. The 1.3" LCM touchscreen offers direct local supervision. Etherlighting™ technology illuminates the Ethernet and SFP28 ports to indicate location, speed/link, and native VLAN/network. Layer 2 features include LACP, STP/RSTP, QoS DSCP, IGMP Snooping with advanced configuration (Querier, Fast Leave, Router Port), LLDP-MED, Voice VLAN, jumbo frames, port mirroring, loop protection, and storm control. Pro AV profiles cover Play, Dante, Q-SYS, NDI, SDVoE, Shure, AES67, and Crestron. Inter-VLAN routing, static routing, a local DHCP server, and DHCP Relay are available for local networks, along with Virtual Network Override. Security and Compliance The switch implements 802.1X control, MAC- and IP-based ACLs, device and port isolation, as well as MAC address blocking. DHCP Snooping and Guarding protection, MAC-based port restriction, egress rate limiting, and multicast/broadcast rate limiting round out the security feature set. The product is NDAA compliant and carries industry-standard certifications. ESD protection reaches ±30 kV (air) and ±20 kV (contact). Design and Installation The SGCC steel enclosure comes in a 1U rack-mount form factor with dimensions of 442 x 480 x 44 mm. Weight is 8.7 kg without mounting brackets and 8.8 kg with.
