A dedicated LPR night mode with optimization filters ensures that either reflective or non-reflective license plates are captured after dark. Optics and Video Quality The 1/1.8-inch sensor with 8 megapixels delivers a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels in 16:9 format at up to 30 frames per second. The motorized lens with a focal length of 4.1 to 12.3 mm and an aperture of ƒ/1.53 to ƒ/3.3 enables a 3× optical zoom. In wide-angle mode, the camera achieves a horizontal field of view of 109.9°, a vertical field of view of 60°, and a diagonal field of view of 127.7°. In telephoto mode, the field of view narrows to 35° horizontal, 19.8° vertical, and 40° diagonal. IR night vision extends up to 15 meters, ensuring usable footage even in complete darkness. Image settings such as color, brightness, sharpness, contrast, white balance, and exposure control can be configured; additional features include 2DNR, 3DNR, motion-based noise reduction, masking, and text overlay. An integrated microphone can be disabled if needed.
