  • Fast Recovery: 50 ms ERPS restoration time

Performance & Throughput

The switch’s switching capacity is 680 Gbps with a maximum forwarding rate of 505.92 Mpps for 64-byte packets. The packet buffer holds 4 MB, and the MAC address table supports up to 32,768 entries. Jumbo frames up to 12 Kbytes are supported. As a Layer 3 device, the switch provides hardware routing with up to 16K IPv4 and up to 8K IPv6 forwarding entries. Static routes are supported with a maximum of 512 IPv4 and 256 IPv6 entries. The hardware routing table includes 1,024 entries shared between IPv4 and IPv6.

PoE & Power Supply

The 24 downlink ports support the PoE standards IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt with up to 60 W per port. The PoE power budget is 790 W with a single power supply and can be expanded to 1,440 W when dual power modules are used. PoE features include Perpetual PoE, Fast PoE, and PD Alive. Power is supplied via an internal connector for 100 to 240 VAC at 50 to 60 Hz. The 1+1 redundancy with hot-swappable power modules and load balancing enhances availability. Maximum power consumption is 1,008.1 W with a single power supply and PoE enabled, or 1,782.37 W with dual power supplies. In standby mode, the device consumes 50.18 W, and with PoE disabled, it consumes 95.9 W.

Stacking & Management

The switch supports physical stacking of up to 9 units via 4 stacking ports with 200 Gbps bandwidth per device. For out-of-band management, a 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ-45 management port and a console port are available. A USB 2.0 Type-A port is also included. The 50 ms ERPS recovery time ensures rapid network restoration in the event of link failures. The device’s MTBF is 286,495.20 hours.

Security & QoS

Security features include 802.1X as well as web- and MAC-based access control. Up to 64 MAC addresses per port are supported for port security. For QoS, the switch offers advanced QoS/CoS, traffic shaping, Layer 2 multicast with IGMP/MLD snooping, and ISM VLAN. The ARP table supports 4,096 IPv4 entries and 256 static entries, while the IPv6 ND table supports 1,024 dynamic and 128 static entries.

Cooling & Dimensions

The device is designed for 19-inch rack mounting and measures 440 x 470 x 44 mm (W x D x H) with a weight of 6.48 kg. Two smart fans provide cooling, with noise levels ranging from 41.2 dB to 50.01 dB. Heat dissipation is 3,439.64 BTU/h. The switch is rated for operation at 0 °C to 50 °C and 10% to 90% relative humidity. Storage temperature ranges from -40 °C to 70 °C.

Certifications

The switch is certified to FCC Class A, CE Class A, VCCI Class A, IC, RCM, BSMI, CB, and cUL.
