Performance and Connectivity

The router supports the IEEE 802.11ax wireless standard and operates on dual-band with speeds up to 800 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and up to 2402 Mbps on 5 GHz. The combined wireless speed reaches up to 3.2 Gbps. Four internal dual-band antennas ensure strong wireless coverage. The two Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports allow for wired device connections, while the Gigabit Ethernet WAN port provides internet access.

The WAN interface supports static and dynamic IP addresses, PPPoE, PPTP, L2TP, and DS-Lite. VLAN tagging according to 802.1p and 802.1q is also supported, as is priority bit setting. The device can handle up to 30,000 simultaneous sessions. D-Link Intelligent QoS Technology prioritizes data traffic.

Security and Firewall

The router includes a firewall with DoS protection, Stateful Packet Inspection, anti-spoofing checks, and IP/MAC address filtering. A DMZ function is also available. Supported security protocols include WPA/WPA2-Personal, WPA2-Personal, WPA2/WPA3-Personal, and WPA3. WPS is not supported.

Management and Mesh Expansion

Configuration is done via the EAGLE PRO AI app for iOS and Android or through the router’s web UI. The device is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing for voice control. D-Link Wi-Fi Mesh enables network expansion by adding additional compatible D-Link Wi-Fi Mesh devices. An LED indicator displays the router’s operational and status conditions.
