Performance & Throughput
The switch provides a switching capacity of 92 Gbps and a maximum packet forwarding rate of 68.45 Mpps. The MAC address table supports up to 16,384 entries per device, with up to 512 static MAC entries configurable and automatic MAC address learning that can be enabled or disabled. Jumbo frames up to 9,216 bytes are supported, and a 1.5 MB packet buffer per device is available. The transmission method is store-and-forward.
PoE & Power Supply
The 24 Gigabit PoE ports (ports 1 to 24) support the IEEE 802.3af/at standard and deliver up to 30 W per port with a maximum total PoE budget of 193 W. The integrated universal power supply accepts 100 to 240 VAC at 50/60 Hz. Maximum power consumption is 238.7 W with PoE enabled and 29 W without PoE; in standby mode, the switch consumes 21 W. D-Link Green 3.0 technology further enhances efficiency with power-saving features such as link-dependent shutoff, LED or port shutoff, system hibernation mode, and time-based PoE control.
Stacking & Layer 3 Routing
The two 10G SFP+ ports enable physical stacking of up to 6 devices, operating at 20 Gbps full duplex. The switch offers Layer 2 management and security with Layer 3 capabilities, including static routing for 64 IPv4 and 32 IPv6 static routes, as well as MSTP as the spanning tree protocol. These features allow network segmentation into workgroups and inter-VLAN communication to reduce the load on core devices.
Design & Reliability
The switch is designed for 19-inch standard racks with a 1U height, measuring 440 x 210 x 44 mm and weighing 2.54 kg. Two smart fans cool the device, with a noise level of 46.4 dB(A) and heat dissipation of 813.97 BTU/hr. The MTBF is 275,428 hours. Flash memory is 32 MB, and DRAM is 256 MB.
Certifications
The switch holds certifications including CE, FCC, C-Tick, VCCI, BSMI, CCC, cUL, CB, and the IPv6 Ready Logo Phase 2. Port standards include IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.3ab, IEEE 802.3ae, and IEEE 802.3x flow control for full-duplex mode with auto-negotiation. Supported network cables are UTP Cat. 5 and Cat. 5e, as well as EIA/TIA-568 100-ohm STP, each up to 100 m. MDI/MDIX operates automatically or can be configured.
