Performance & Throughput

The switch provides a 200 Gbps switching capacity and a maximum packet forwarding rate of 148.81 Mpps, using a store-and-forward transmission method. A 32K-entry MAC address table with 256 static MAC entries supports large Layer 2 deployments, while a 16 Mbit packet buffer accommodates traffic bursts. Jumbo frames up to 12,000 bytes are supported for efficient transfer of large data payloads.

Port standards include IEEE 802.3u 100BASE-TX, IEEE 802.3ab 1000BASE-T, IEEE 802.3bz 2.5GBASE-T and 5GBASE-T, IEEE 802.3an 10GBASE-T, IEEE 802.3ae 10G Ethernet over fibre, and IEEE 802.3z 1000BASE-X. Auto MDI/MDIX eliminates the need for crossover cabling. IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet reduces power consumption during periods of low link utilisation.

Layer 2 & Multicast Features

Spanning Tree Protocol support spans 802.1D STP, 802.1w RSTP, and 802.1s MSTP for loop-free network topologies. The switch supports up to 4,094 static VLAN groups with configurable VIDs from 1 to 4,094. IGMP snooping provides v1/v2/v3 awareness with support for 256 IGMP groups and per-VLAN configuration, alongside an IGMP Snooping Querier. MLD snooping offers v1/v2 awareness for 256 groups, enabling efficient IPv6 multicast traffic distribution.

Security & Access Control

Port security allows up to 64 MAC addresses per port to be configured, restricting unauthorised device connectivity. Access Control Lists support a maximum of 50 access lists, with up to 768 entries shared by IPv4 and MAC ACLs and up to 384 entries for IPv6 ACLs. Bandwidth control operates on a port-based basis for both ingress and egress, with a minimum granularity of 16 Kbps at 10/100/1000 speeds. IEEE 802.1p Quality of Service provides 8 queues per port for traffic prioritisation.

Management & Configuration

Management options include a web-based GUI, full CLI, Telnet server, TFTP client, and SNMP v1/v2c/v3. The switch is also manageable through D-Link Nuclias Connect, Nuclias Hyper, and the DNH-1000 and DNH-3000 hardware controllers. A console port is supported for direct local configuration. Internal memory comprises 32 MB of flash storage and 512 MB of DRAM.

Design & Power

The unit measures 440 x 250 x 44 mm and weighs 3.473 kg, with an internal power supply accepting 100 to 240 V AC at 50/60 Hz. Maximum power consumption is 39.737 W. Two internal fans provide active cooling, and the operating temperature range spans -5°C to 50°C with 0% to 95% relative humidity. The switch carries CB, UL, BSMI, EMC Class A, VCCI Class A, FCC Class A, IC, and RCM certifications.
