Description

Key Benefits at a Glance

  • Switching capacity: 400 Gbps for high throughput in the access layer
  • Stacking: physical stacking of up to 9 units with 200 Gbps per device
  • Surge protection: 6 kV on all PoE and non-PoE 2.5G/5G Ethernet access ports
  • Redundant power supply: optional hot-swappable internal power supplies (AC and DC)
  • Forwarding rate: 298 Mpps with 64-byte packets

Ports & Connectivity

The switch features 16 PoE ports with 100M/1/2.5GBASE-T, 8 PoE++ ports with 100M/1/2.5/5GBASE-T and 60W, and 2 non-PoE ports with 100M/1/2.5/5/10GBASE-T. The copper ports are complemented by 4 SFP28 ports with 10/25G, providing uplink capacity for demanding network environments. The total switching capacity is 400 Gbps.

PoE Power & Power Supply

The PoE ports support the IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at, and IEEE 802.3bt standards. The standard PoE budget is 740 watts and can be expanded to 960 watts with a second power supply. Optional redundant power supplies include the hot-swappable internal power supplies DPS-PWR740AC (AC) and DPS-PWR740DC (DC). The power input ranges from 100 to 240 VAC at 50 to 60 Hz. Maximum power consumption is 1211.5 watts with PoE enabled and 88.9 watts with PoE disabled; standby power consumption is 58.3 watts.

Stacking & Management

The device supports physical stacking with up to 9 units per stack and a stacking bandwidth of 200 Gbps per device. Four stacking ports and one stacking cost port are available for stacking connections. A 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ-45 management port enables out-of-band IP management, while another 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ-45 console port is used for out-of-band CLI management. Additionally, a USB 2.0 Type-A port is included. The packet buffer memory is 4 MB.

Reliability & Protection

All PoE and non-PoE 2.5G/5G Ethernet access ports feature 6 kV surge protection. Cooling is provided by 2 smart fans. The MTBF is 277,222.63 hours. Heat dissipation is 4137.73 BTU/h, with noise levels ranging from a maximum of 72.8 dB to a minimum of 39.9 dB.
