Design and Mounting

The antenna measures 258 mm × 13 mm × 34 mm and weighs 0.06 kg. The radome is made of ABS/PC plastic in Pantone Cool Gray 1C and meets UL 94-HB flammability standards. Mounting options include an adhesive backing or an M8 × 17 mm spigot with an M8 brass nut, enabling flexible installation on various surfaces.

Performance and Frequency Coverage

The DASH-1 operates across two frequency bands: 690 to 960 MHz with a maximum gain of 1 dBi, and 1710 to 2700 MHz with a maximum gain of 4 dBi. VSWR is less than 3:1 across 90% of the bands. The maximum input power is 10 W with a nominal impedance of 50 ohms. The HDF-195 coaxial cable has an attenuation of 0.78 dB/m at 600 MHz, increasing to 1.6 dB/m at 2400 MHz.

Environmental and Operating Conditions

The antenna is approved for indoor and outdoor use and provides IP65 protection against water ingress. It withstands salt spray testing per MIL-STD 810F/ASTM B117 and achieves an impact resistance rating of IK 08. Operating temperatures range from -40 °C to +70 °C at relative humidity levels up to 98%. The antenna can endure wind speeds up to 120 km/h. Storage temperature matches the operating range, while storage humidity ranges from 5% to 95% in a non-condensing environment.
