Performance and Range

The airFiber 60 LR delivers a maximum throughput of 1.8 Gbit/s and reliably bridges distances of over 12 km. Its integrated Wave technology enables true full-duplex gigabit performance in the 60 GHz spectrum, ensuring stable, low-latency connections even in challenging environmental conditions. Channel bandwidths of 2160 MHz or 1080 MHz provide flexibility for diverse deployment scenarios.

Design and Power Supply

The compact device, with a diameter of 413 mm and a depth of 360 mm, weighs just 1.5 kg without the mounting bracket. The aluminum and UV-stabilized polycarbonate housing is optimized for outdoor use, withstanding temperatures from -40 to 60 °C and humidity levels of 5 to 95% (non-condensing). Power is supplied via passive PoE (48 VDC) using the included Gigabit PoE adapter (0.65 A). Maximum power consumption is 18 W, and comprehensive ESD/EMP protection of ±24 kV (air/contact) ensures reliable operation in exposed locations.

Management and Software

Setup and management are conveniently handled via the integrated Bluetooth interface and the UISP app or through the web UI. The airOS operating system supports PtP mode only and includes services such as UISP, Ping Watchdog, NTP client, and system logging. Useful tools like antenna alignment, discovery, ping, traceroute, and speed test simplify installation and troubleshooting. Encryption is provided via WPA2-PSK (AES).
