Operating modes and performance

The device functions as a CPE client in point-to-multipoint (PtMP) environments and also supports point-to-point (PtP) mode. Maximum throughput reaches over 900 Mbps with firmware version 2.3.0 and later, operating in the 5.15 to 5.95 GHz frequency band depending on regional regulations. The maximum conducted transmit power is 22 dBm per chain, with configurable channel widths of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80, and 100 MHz starting from firmware 2.3.0.

Selectable uplink/downlink ratios are 25/75, 33/67, and 50/50, allowing traffic balancing based on link requirements. The network mode can be configured as bridge or router, with router mode available only in PtMP CPE mode. The product complies with NDAA regulations.

Design and environmental resistance

The housing is made of UV-stabilized polycarbonate and has an IPX6 weather resistance rating. It withstands a wind load of 275 N at 200 km/h (61.8 lbf at 125 mph), making it suitable for outdoor installations exposed to harsh conditions. The operating temperature range is -40 to 60 °C (-40 to 140 °F), and the operating humidity range is 5 to 95% non-condensing.

The feed dimensions are 201.46 x 64.15 x 56.15 mm, and the antenna dimensions are 358 x 271.95 x 288.5 mm. The feed weighs 215 g, the antenna 890 g, and the antenna with mount 1.07 kg. RF connections are internal, and the device includes power and Ethernet LED indicators.

Power and connectivity

The unit is powered via passive 2-pair PoE (pins 4, 5+; 7, 8-) with a supported voltage range of 22 to 26 V DC. It includes a 24 V DC, 0.5 A Gigabit PoE adapter, and the maximum power consumption is 8.5 W. The network interface features a GbE RJ45 port for data connection.

Management and software tools

Device management is handled via Bluetooth through the UISP app or via the web interface, accessible from any modern web browser or an iOS- or Android-based smartphone. Available services include SNMP, SSH, dynamic DNS, web server, remote logging, and ping watchdog.

Integrated utilities include airView, speed test, alignment, detection, ping, traceroute, cable test, and constellation. Automatic distance and power adjustment are available to simplify link optimization. Security encryption uses WPA2-PSK (AES), and the device provides performance statistics reports.
