60 GHz Performance

The GBE-Plus operates in the 57–66 GHz frequency range, leveraging a 2160 MHz channel bandwidth and 35 dBi antenna gain to achieve high data rates. Its narrow 3° beamwidth (both vertical and horizontal) ensures focused signal transmission, while the quad-core ARM Cortex A7 processor and 256 MB DDR3 memory handle traffic efficiently. The radio supports PtP links as either an Access Point or Station, with four operating channels (58320, 60480, 62640, 64800 MHz) and a maximum conducted TX power of 17 dBm.

Outdoor-Ready Design

Built for harsh environments, the GBE-Plus features a UV-resistant polycarbonate and stainless steel enclosure, with metal mounting hardware. It withstands wind loading of 50 N at 200 km/h and operates reliably from -40 to 60° C with 5–95% noncondensing humidity. ESD/EMP protection is rated at ±24 kV air/contact. The compact unit (Ø155 x 137 mm, 1 kg) is powered via passive PoE (24 VDC, 0.5 A Gigabit adapter) and consumes a maximum of 11 W, with a supported voltage range of 22–26 VDC.

Intuitive Management

Setup and monitoring are streamlined through the UISP dashboard and Bluetooth management via the UISP App. The integrated antenna alignment tool and discovery protocol accelerate deployment. On-device services include Ping Watchdog, SSH server, NTP client, system log, and device discovery, all configurable through the airOS web UI. Security is enforced with WPA2 AES encryption, ensuring robust link protection.
