With a downlink rate of 3.4 Gbps and 900 Mbps uplink, the router is suitable for bandwidth-intensive applications. The 4x4 internal MIMO cellular antennas ensure optimal reception, while US carrier certifications (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, FirstNet) provide broad compatibility.
Rugged Design for Outdoor Use
The IP67-certified housing reliably protects against dust and water, enabling operation in extreme temperatures from -40 °C to 65 °C at humidity levels of 15% to 95% (non-condensing). The Ethernet ports are equipped with overvoltage and ESD protection circuits. Power is supplied via 802.3at PoE+ or a DC input (12–56 V). An Ethernet splitter provides an 802.3af PoE output. Mounting options include an M35 screw bracket as well as wall or pole mounting via the Ethernet splitter.
Comprehensive Network Management and Security
The Peplink MAX firmware offers intelligent load balancing with failover, session persistence, and multiple algorithms (Weighted, Enforced, Persistence, Priority, Overflow, Least Used, Lowest Latency, Fastest Response Time). SpeedFusion VPN enables site-to-site VPN, Hot Failover, WAN Smoothing, and bandwidth bonding with 256-bit AES encryption, pre-shared key authentication, dynamic routing, and X.509 certificate support. Additional features include IPsec VPN, PPTP VPN, and RADIUS and LDAP authentication. The stateful firewall, DoS prevention, and web blocking protect the network, while Advanced QoS allows custom prioritization, bandwidth reservation, and application QoS. The integrated AP controller manages Wi-Fi access points and provides usage statistics.
Flexible Deployment Scenarios
The MAX HD1 Dome Pro supports up to 150 recommended users and is suitable for mobile and fixed scenarios in transportation, public safety, and distributed enterprise locations. SIM redundancy with one slot for Nano-SIM (4FF), Peplink eSIM, BYO eSIM (2 profiles), RemoteSIM, and FusionSIM, along with compatibility with the SIM Injector (up to 10 physical SIMs, 8 active slots), ensures optimal network coverage at all times. Wi-Fi can be configured as WAN or access point. The integrated GPS module enables location tracking and fleet management via InControl 2. The four Gigabit Ethernet ports with 802.3at PoE+ directly power connected devices.
