Connectivity and network management

The RUT241 supports 4G LTE Cat 4, 3G, and 2G cellular technologies, enabling connectivity across different network generations. The router features two Ethernet ports and digital inputs/outputs for remote monitoring and control of connected equipment. Automatic WAN failover ensures traffic continuity by seamlessly switching to an available backup connection without manual intervention.

eSIM™ and wireless features

eSIM™ support is based on the SGP.22 architecture and allows up to seven eSIM™ profiles in addition to a physical SIM card, simplifying carrier management without physical card handling. The router also functions as a Wi-Fi access point with hotspot capability, providing wireless coverage for local devices. All networking functions are powered by RutOS, Teltonika’s operating system, which delivers advanced configuration capabilities tailored for IoT and M2M environments.
