Powerful Connectivity for Demanding Environments
The Balance 310X 5G delivers a router throughput of 1 Gbit/s, easily handling bandwidth-intensive applications in branches, clinics, or remote offices. The integrated 5G modem achieves up to 3.4 Gbit/s downlink (5G) or 1.6 Gbit/s (LTE CAT-20) and supports a wide range of 5G and LTE bands — including n1, n3, n7, n28, n78 and B1, B3, B7, B20, B28. Four SMA antenna connectors ensure optimal reception even in challenging RF environments.
Reliability Through Intelligent WAN Management
Thanks to Hot Failover, the router seamlessly switches between 5G, fiber, and Ethernet WAN without dropping sessions. The Traffic Steering technology enables application-based traffic control — for example, routing VoIP over 5G and large file transfers over fiber. Load balancing distributes traffic using algorithms such as Weighted, Persistence, or Lowest Latency. Redundant SIM slots, Peplink eSIM, BYO eSIM, and remote SIM via SIM Injector or FusionSIM maximize mobile availability.
Comprehensive Security and VPN Integration
A stateful firewall with DoS prevention, web filtering, and blacklisting protects the LAN. For site-to-site networking, SpeedFusion VPN offers bandwidth bonding and 256-bit AES encryption, along with IPsec (X.509), PPTP/L2TP/OpenVPN server, and GRE tunnels. Dynamic routing (BGP, OSPFv2, RIPv2) and VRRP high availability round out the enterprise feature set.
Easy Deployment and Central Management
The Balance 310X 5G includes a Wi-Fi 5 Access Point (2x2:2 dual-band) with four RP-SMA antenna connectors and an AP controller for automatic detection and configuration of Pepwave APs. A captive portal with RADIUS/LDAP authentication and customizable splash page enables guest access. Via InControl, all devices can be remotely monitored, configured, and updated. The compact housing (252 x 180 x 50 mm) can optionally be mounted in 19-inch racks using the ACW-782 rackmount kit.
